My whole research career, both in academia and teaching has always focused on improving drug delivery systems.I started my research with Kinetic Study of Oxidation of many organic compounds which have therapeutic importance. Oxidant was used as Quinquevalent Vanadium .Vanadium is versatile and potent oxidant .Vanadium is used for treatment of dibities and other disease too.The Paracetmol,acetaminophen is non-prescriptive anti anflimentry,anti-pyrogenic drug was oxidized and its combination with sulfur containing amino acid revert the metabolites of paracetmol. This work was filed for Indian Patent.

           Our research is geared toward developing materials and devices for biological and medical applications, and is conducted in three labs within the group:Nanoparticle Lab focuses its research on Nanoparticles preparation by using biodegradable polymers with different methods. Factorial design is also done for drug release.  We are also prepared nanoparticles of many drugs which have poor water solubility such as Anti-Fungal, Anti-Viral, Anti-Osteoporosis, Anti-Tuberculosis, Anti-Malaria, Cardiovascular drugs, CNS drugs. We are also developing a general rulebook of design principles for crossing the blood brain barrier. Tissue Engineering Lab concentrates on development of biocompatible porous and Nano fibrous matrices serving as biodegradable scaffolds and/or drug delivery depots for tissue repair and regeneration.Biosensor Lab targets the detection and identification of chemical and biological agents and the development of drug screening techniques using protein and cell based sensors.Our lab is fully dedicated for Expanding knowledge With Research for Life.
